BBA Programme located at SBPPSE is interdisciplinary and covers domains of Management, Economics, Liberal Studies, and Humanities with a strong orientation on cognitive skills, emotional skills and technological skills (skills recommended for workers in 2030: World Economic Forum). The programme is designed with an aim to impart requisite knowledge and skills with social commerce such that the graduate has technical knowledge with consciousness of inclusiveness. It develops skills in leadership, communications, cognitive flexibility, complex problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, emotional intelligence, judgment and decision making with a socio technical perspective. Hence, providing a confluence of analytics with Liberal Arts and Humanities in alignment with skills required for Industry 4.0.
The primary goal of the programme is to provide in-depth information on the changes of global business environment while remaining aware of social requirements. By focusing on core disciplines in the field, the students develop professionally for careers across the world with a humane perspective. They are equipped to appreciate theory and frameworks, learn a new foreign language, data analytics etc. to be able to take advantage of all opportunities that come with change, as well as get groomed to become leaders of that change. The programme includes a Field Immersion – NGOs and Rural Connect as well as Summer Internship Project. They sensitize the young managers and entrepreneurs towards the intricacies of the rural and urban areas of India and make them aware about various government initiatives and the economy in general. Additionally, the BBA Programme helps prepare students for higher studies in the domain of management or in emergent interdisciplinary fields.
Further, the students have frequent interactions with Alumni of SBPPSE, and experts in Academia, Government, and Industry to gain wider exposure to entrepreneurial management, optimisation of operational and strategic investment, and changing state of the economy. They are encouraged to form clubs and societies so that, they are able to discuss and deliberate specific concurrent issues. Industry visits and Internship Fairs are organised, which form an important input for overall development.

Of the 134 credits required to earn a BBA degree, a student is required to obtain 114 credits from Core Courses (CC), Ability Enhancement Compulsory Courses (AECC) and Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC) offered at SBPPSE. 4 credits to be earned from Discipline Specific Elective (DSE) Courses offered at SBPPSE. 16 credits from Generic Elective (GE) Courses/Interdisciplinary Courses offered outside SBPPSE within AUD – Economics, Mathematics, Psychology, Sociology, History etc.

Applicants need to have passed the class XII examination with at least 50% marks from CBSE or any recognised Board. (Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/PwBD/D-OBC(NCL)/Defence/KM).
Selection Procedure (for Academic Year 2020-21)
The selection will be based on merit on the basis of the marks obtained in class XII. Merit will be calculated on the basis of the best four subjects and will not include any vocational subjects as listed by CBSE.

It is the stated policy of the University that no deserving applicant, as far as possible, is denied the opportunity of studying at AUD merely due to her/his inability to pay the fees. To implement this a comprehensive fee-waiver policy is adopted.
The University offers full and partial tuition fee-waivers to students who are in need of support given their economic background. Students with an annual family income of less than Rs. 6 Lakhs will be considered for tuition fee-waiver.
The gross annual family income ceiling (slab-wise) for availing tuition fee-waiver from the economically backward students (other than SC, ST and PwBD), is given below:

The pedagogy at SBPPSE uses a blended approach to learning which is based on methods such as case study, business simulation, role plays, class room lectures and experiential learning. Field-based learning and experience sharing by practitioners on a regular basis are integral parts of our programme.
Case repositories representative of e learning resources and hardware like laptop and projector are equipment which are used on a regular basis.
